This faculty-led semester length program gives students from Lasallian university students the opportunity to study and live together at the Lasallian Universities Center for Education (LUCE) in the Generalate in Rome-the mother house for the Lasallian Christian Brothers. Created by the US Lasallian universities, this exciting new program provides students the chance to have a deeper understanding of John Baptiste de La Salle and the Lasallian Christian Brothers while completing major, minor, and general education requirements at their home institutions. Professors from Lewis University lead the program, living at the Generalate with the students, teaching courses, and travelling with the students on program sponsored excursions.

The central Rome location means that students are literally surrounded by the history and art of thousands of years. John Cabot's strategic position in this world center of diplomacy, combined with the unique relationship enjoyed with leading multinational corporations, embassies, media and international organizations gives JCU students the opportunity to participate in exclusive internship programs and to be first-run candidates for distinguished job openings in the vibrant international market.

American University Rome (AUR) is a small, private university that is committed to offering liberal studies and professional courses in an international environment. Many courses use the city as a classroom, and students can count on several unique opportunities to explore Rome's ancient history, gorgeous architecture and rich culture throughout the semester. AUR's liberal arts curriculum makes it an attractive study abroad location for students regardless of major.

The 13-week, undergraduate semester program offers students the unique experience of learning abroad while providing the opportunity to take up to 18 credits and stay on track for graduation.

The SAI program in Florence enables students to take classes at 5 different universities from a variety of subjects. Students will take most of their courses through Florence University of the Arts (FUA). The network of schools is located in the city center, and classes are limited to 25-30 students. (Studio Arts classes are less.) All classes are taught in English, and students have access to several computer labs, a library, and study lounges, and exercise facilities. Complementing the academic programs, students are encourages to participate in extra-curricular programming sponsored by SAI and FUA. These include short weekend trips to nearby towns, or events during the week that highlight local culture. In particular, this program is well suited for students in Fine Arts (painting, sculpture, graphic design, drawing), the Humanities, and Business.
