Travel and study in Rome, Florence and Venice, and the surrounding Veneto region of Northern Italy.

Course description:
This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to study Italian art history, architecture, religion, culture, and civilization, and to incorporate some of these ideas about art, politics, and religion that have been important in the shaping of modern thought. Students will explore regional and cultural differences while visiting medieval walled towns and dynamic metropolitan cities.

Additional lectures on Italian history and culture, art and architecture, religion, and global commerce will be presented by Italian professors in their specific areas of expertise.

Prerequisites:
Students need to have a GPA of 2.0 or higher and Sophomore status. Eligibility will also be based on recommendations & record of behavior.

Cost:
$4,250
Includes tuition, lodging, most meals and course fees. Students must purchase airline ticket & passport.
** $1000 non-refundable deposit due at time of application. Remainder of payment due by April 1.
